Wind
It was just sooo bitterly cold in this morning's wind, I may never go outside again. I should have take Kristen's scarf-tying tutorial before leaving the house.

Eleven inches
Now that I'm back inside where it's nice and warm, I can see that my dear son, who insisted that I go outside and be whipped around by the blizzard to take this picture, had the yardstick in the snow backwards. But you can do the math—that's a lot of snow.
Kristen has more pictures—a pretty impressive gallery for someone who didn't go outside to take them. I definitely need to upgrade my gallery tools.

X-mas tree
I actually got my Christmas tree down out onto the curb in time for the annual pickup day—now that's a first. I think they did it later this year.

Tips for teens
It may be a sad state of affairs when you find yourself picking up child rearing tips from Slashdot, but this one is pretty good, despite being written by a dot.com millionaire.

Tea aisle
Forest Park Market—more tea than I ever thought possible. Most of the labels are in non-Western alphabets, but from what I can make out, there is a sizable selection of diet-related options. Diet tea?

Not looking
...my teenage son not looking at the wall full of female nudes in a Brattleboro cafe during a Friday night gallery walk. It was our first stop—I think it freaked him out a bit.
